Four year old Pembrook Playboy, in the hands of his trainer/driver Nathan Williamson, won the Group 3 Ascot Park Hotel Invercargill Cup at Ascot Park Racetrack on January 30, 2021.
The Bettors Delight colt stopped the clock for the 2700m handicap pace at 3.20.2, with a sizzling last half of 54.4. Pembrook Playboy is owned by C Alcock who was on hand to receive the trophy following the race.
On a side-note, Bettors Delight sired the first three home; Pembrook Playboy, TheFixer and Henry Hubert.
